LEATHER FLOWERS

Leather roses were my very first adventure into the world of leatherworking. I used a technique called "wet-molding" to create the rose shape and attached them to a golden wire to act as a stem.

The Shoe Project

The shoe project involves taking old shoes from a thrift store and revitalizing them. I do this by dying them, painting them, giving them new laces, and fixing broken heels.

Bags

Leather bags and purses ended up becoming my favorite use of the craft. I learned how to hand stitch leather, add zippers and bag hardware, and create patterns for various coin bags, instrument cases, and purses.
